Vision II Lab Scope lets you view waveforms and numerical data simultaneously:

Perfect for evaluating the operation of sensors, switches, actuators, and fuel injectors. Portable for use in road testing to solve those tough intermittent drivability problems.

The Vision II incorporates a 16 bit, personal computer compatible central processor unit with software cards and data storage, and a 4-1/4" diagonal (256 x 320 pixel) high resolution LCD display. Data and waveforms can be viewed on the Vision II screen, captured and stored for later viewing, or printed out on laser or dot matrix printers.

Four-Channel Scope Capabilities:

In addition to portability and data storage capabilities, Vision II offers a four-channel acquisition port, allowing you to read data from one to four different sensors simultaneously (most lab scopes offer only two-channel capability). Additional scope functions offered are an adjustable trigger; incremental gain select of +0.5 to +100V (full scale); time base select of 0.5 millisecond to 10 seconds (full scale); auto gain capability; and cursor movement for accurate measurement of time, frequency, and voltage.

Modular Ignition Scope Capability:

The plug-in ignition scope module provides effective analysis of both DIS and conventional ignition systems. Primary and secondary ignition/voltage patterns are displayed for vehicles having 2 to 8 cylinders with raster, parade and single cylinder displays. Provides signals in bar graph, digital and histograph formats. DIS power and waste patterns are shown on the same screen for engines up to eight cylinders. Has ability to store and retrieve data.

Digital Multimeter Capabilities:

Offers 1-4 channels and 1-6 windows per screen. Vision II multimeter covers volts, frequency, and duty cycle. Volt measurement provides minimum, maximum, average, and volts RMS.

Automatic Setup Component Tests:

Automatically, quickly and accurately sets up the scope and digital multimeter for specific sensor testing. You can perform testing of oxygen sensor, throttle position sensor, mass airflow or manifold absolute pressure sensor (analog or digital), and fuel injector operation.

Future Functions:

As vehicles change, you can update your Vision II just by inserting a new software program card.

User-friendly Features:

A waveform library lets you compare your waveforms to "known good" waveforms. The extremely fast sampling rate means faster screen updates. The custom membrane keypad and "soft function keys" (software assigned) make the unit easy to use. A "Help" menu assists in understanding different screens and functions. An LCD display provides graphic and text output. A cold cathode fluorescent light provides bright, legible back-lighting, even In dim shop conditions, and contrast control lets you fine-tune the screen.

Power Requirements:

Rechargeable (Ni-Cad) battery pack provides sufficient power for 4-6 hours of operation. Internal circuitry can charge a depleted battery pack within 1-1/2 hours. Comes with a 120-volt AC adapter.
